The Mirasol building is at calle Irta, 2 (Carrer Irta), in the Cargador and centre of Alcossebre area, the coastal core of Alcalà de Xivert (Castellón). It is located in the part of the old town that lies towards the interior, with Cargador beach, the seafront promenade and the shops of the centre in the same neighbourhood.
What the building is like
It is a residential apartment block. Services such as a pool, lift or parking are not on record in the sources consulted, so we cannot confirm them.
In October 2026 we found no listings for the building on Google Maps, Booking, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Atrápalo or Central de Reservas: it only appears on OpenStreetMap. That is, there is no record of a tourist rental offer for Mirasol on the portals nor guest reviews that we can summarise.
What is nearby
- Cargador beach: the main beach of Alcossebre, about 850 by 70 metres of fine sand, with a dune system, full accessibility, a sailing club and a Blue Flag without interruption since 1987.
- Playa Romana: 500 metres of fine sand, also with a Blue Flag in 2026, linked to Cargador by the wooden walkway of the Senda Litoral.
- Village centre: restaurants, shops, the seafront promenade, the Tourist Info office in Plaza Vistalegre and the Tuesday afternoon market in season.
- Hermitage of Santa Llúcia i Sant Benet: a short excursion from the village; route 5 climbs to it in 1.3 km from the Montemar estate.
- Sierra de Irta: to the north, the Serra d'Irta Natural Park has easy routes from Cala Blanca and the lighthouse. In summer, driving access to its coast requires booking a place in the GVA Parcs Naturals app.
How to get there
Via the AP-7, exit 44 (Alcossebre-Torreblanca), or via the N-340 and CV-142 to Alcossebre. Castellón is about 50 km away, Valencia about 120 km, Zaragoza about 255 km and Madrid about 465 km. The nearest airport is Castellón, about 22 km away, and Alcalà de Xivert train station is about 10 km away. It is explained in the guide to getting to Alcocéber by car.
