Apartamentos Atenea Playa Romana is the name under which some holiday apartments for up to 6 people are advertised in the Romana beach area of Alcossebre. We have seen them mentioned on a travel deals website, but no tourist rental offer appears on the major portals at the time of checking (October 2026): there is no listing on Booking, Google Maps, Tripadvisor or any of the other portals reviewed, and we have not been able to verify their exact address or coordinates.

The area: Romana beach
Romana beach lies south of the centre of Alcossebre (Alcalà de Xivert, Castellón). It is a fine-sand beach about 500 metres long and 40 wide, accessible and with a Blue Flag in 2026. Its great advantage is the Senda Litoral, a wooden walkway linking it to Carregador beach, the town's main beach, with a seafront promenade and an uninterrupted Blue Flag since 1987.
It is a quiet residential area, with several apartment buildings facing the sea or a few metres away. To the south continue El Moro beach, also with a Blue Flag, and the coves of Tres Platges.

- Alcossebre market: on Tuesdays, from May to October, near the seafront promenade.
- Las Fuentes marina: north of the town, with a sailing school and diving trips to the Columbretes Islands.
- Serra d'Irta Natural Park: walking and cycling trails start from the lighthouse and Cala Blanca, such as the Ruta del Cranc to Peñíscola (13.2 km, easy). In summer, driving to the park's coast requires a reservation in the GVA Parcs Naturals app.
How to get there
Take the AP-7, exit 44 (Alcossebre-Torreblanca), or the N-340 and CV-142 to the coast. Romana beach is south of the centre, following the seafront promenade. From Zaragoza it is about 255 km; from Madrid, about 465 km; and from Bilbao, about 565 km. The nearest airport is Castellón (~22 km), and the nearest train station is Alcalà de Xivert (~10 km).
