The Cala Blanca estate in Alcossebre (urbanització Cala Blanca, or Cala Blanca villas) is a group of houses and villas, many with a private pool, at the northern end of the town. It is not a complex with shared management: each property is independent and has its own owner.
Some villas are rented by the day or week through local agencies or by their owners. Casa Azahar does not manage properties on this estate and does not take bookings for them: this page is informational and independent.
Where is the Cala Blanca estate in Alcocéber
The estate is next to Cala Blanca, beside the Alcossebre lighthouse and at the start of the Ribamar track, the coastal path that leads into the Serra d'Irta Natural Park towards Peñíscola.
- Cala Blanca: a small cove of fine sand and pebbles, about 30 by 10 metres. The Alcossebre tourism website rates its access as difficult, and the coves in the area have no lifeguards or services.
- Serra d'Irta Natural Park: declared in 2002, with about 12 km of unspoilt coastline. From Cala Blanca start route 2 (Faro d'Irta - Cala Cubanita - Font de la Parra, 12.8 km, easy) and the Ruta del Cranc mountain-bike trail (13.2 km, easy) along the coastal track.
- Las Fuentes beach and marina, to the south, for those who prefer an urban beach with services.
It is a natural setting at the gateway to the park. In return, the town centre and shops are farther away than from Las Fuentes or the Cargador, and a car comes in handy. In summer, driving onto the park's coastal track requires booking a parking space in advance in the GVA Parcs Naturals app.
What the estate is like
What the sources show is that these are independent houses and villas, with a garden and a private pool in many cases. No shared facilities are mentioned. The size, equipment and condition depend on each property.
Reviews: individual villas, not the estate
On Booking there are a few individual properties on the estate. The one we reviewed, a villa with a private garden, had an 8.1 out of 10 with 7 reviews as of October 2026. That is the rating of that specific villa and from a small sample, so we do not present it as a rating of Cala Blanca as a whole.
How to get there
- By car: AP-7, exit 44 (Alcossebre-Torreblanca), or N-340 and CV-142 to Alcossebre; then head for Las Fuentes and the lighthouse.
- By train: Alcalà de Xivert station, about 10 km away.
- By plane: Castellón airport is about 22 km away (around 25 minutes) and Valencia airport about 123 km (approx. 1 h 30 min).
