La Palmera Development in Alcossebre is a residential development in the south of the municipality of Alcalà de Xivert, away from the urban centre and near the coast. It only appears in estate agency sale listings; it has no listings on Booking, Google Hotels, Tripadvisor or other holiday rental portals as of the date checked. Where it is: the south of Alcossebre
The development is south of Alcossebre, about 5 km from the centre, outside the areas where tourist apartments are concentrated. It is a quiet location, but for almost everything (supermarket, restaurants, beaches with services) you need a car.
In this part of the coast are the most natural beaches in the town:
- Manyetes / Tropicana: 400 × 35 m, sand to the north and pebbles to the south, a quiet atmosphere, dunes and a nearby campsite. It has a Blue Flag in 2026.
- Serradal / L'Estany: 1,600 m of pebbles, very natural, with a small delta at the mouth of the San Miguel river. In its L'Estany sector there is a signposted dog area.
- Tres Platges: three small linked coves of sand and pebbles; an unsupervised bathing area.
What is around
- Urban beaches with services: El Moro and Romana, further north, with lifeguards and a Blue Flag.
- Centre of Alcossebre: Cargador beach, the seafront promenade and Plaza Vista Alegre, a few minutes by car.
- Alcalà de Xivert and Torreblanca, about 9 km from the centre of Alcossebre.
- Serra d'Irta Natural Park, at the other end of the town, with routes from Cala Blanca and the lighthouse.
How to get to La Palmera Development
- By car: AP-7, exit 44 (Alcossebre-Torreblanca), or N-340 and CV-142 to Alcossebre; the development is in the southern part, towards Manyetes and Serradal beaches.
- Approximate distances from Alcossebre: Castellón, about 50 km; Valencia, about 120 km; Zaragoza, about 255 km; Madrid, about 465 km.
- Airports: Castellón (about 22 km), Valencia (about 123 km), Reus (about 145 km) and Barcelona (about 230 km).
- By train: Alcalà de Xivert station, about 10 km from the centre.
