Las Terrazas is next to Cargador beach, practically on the seafront according to the Casa Azahar listing, in the Cargador and town centre area of Alcossebre (Alcalà de Xivert, Castellón). The complex's Booking listing gives its address as Carrer d'en Canes.
Cargador beach (Carregador) is the main beach of Alcossebre:
- About 850 metres of fine sand and 70 wide.
- A dune system of high ecological value, with a colony of sea daffodils.
- Accessible, with a sailing club and paddle surf hire.
- Blue Flag status without interruption since 1987.
- Seafront promenade along the beach.
To the south, the Senda Litoral, a wooden walkway, links Cargador with Playa Romana, another fine-sand beach with Blue Flag status.
Advantages of the area: a large beach with services a short walk away, a seafront promenade and the town centre within walking distance.
Drawbacks: in high season it is one of the busiest areas of Alcossebre; those looking for total seclusion may prefer the residential estates to the north.

On Google an apartment in the complex is advertised for 6 people, with 3 bedrooms, and the Booking listing corresponds to a specific unit on a third floor. Casa Azahar does not state on its page the capacity or whether there are sea views, so it is best to check the description of the specific apartment before booking.
One complex, several agencies
Besides Casa Azahar, other local agencies market apartments in Las Terrazas, such as Orange Costa, Albert Villas or Lloguers Altamar. On Booking there is also a listing called "Terrazas Altamar" with slightly different coordinates, which could correspond to another building. Each agency manages its own units, with its own equipment and conditions, so the reviews of one listing do not necessarily apply to another.

Tips before booking at Las Terrazas
- Check which agency manages the unit and read that agency's conditions, because they vary from one to another.
- Ask for the exact capacity and layout of the apartment: the complex has units of different sizes.
- Ask about air conditioning if you travel in July or August, as there is not enough public data.
- Check the pool opening dates if you travel outside summer.
- Make use of the parking to take car trips to the Serra d'Irta or to nearby towns such as Peñíscola or Morella.
When to go to Las Terrazas
The Cargador area is lively almost all year round, but changes a lot with the season:
- July and August: average highs of 29-30 °C and sea temperature around 25 °C, according to reference climate data. It is the season for beach and pool, with the seafront promenade full of atmosphere and the Tuesday market. The patron saint festivals of San Juan Bautista, the main ones in the municipality, take place between August and September.
- June and September: good beach weather with fewer people; in June Sant Benet and the Night of San Juan are celebrated.
- Spring and autumn: average temperatures of 16 to 19 °C, ideal for combining beach walks with routes in the Serra d'Irta. In October the Fira de la Tomata de Penjar is held, dedicated to the best-known product of Alcalà de Xivert.
Alcossebre has more than 2,700 hours of sunshine a year, so even outside summer it is common to enjoy sunny days on the terrace.

- Cargador beach and its seafront promenade, a short walk away.
- Playa Romana, to the south, via the Senda Litoral: 500 metres of fine sand, accessible and with Blue Flag status.
- El Moro beach, further south: 300 metres of sand among rocks, with Blue Flag status, lifeguards and showers.
- Alcossebre market, on Tuesdays from May to October in the seafront promenade area.
- Serra d'Irta Natural Park: the red route starts at the lighthouse (8.5 km circular, easy) and route 2 from Cala Blanca (12.8 km, easy). In summer, driving access to the park's coast requires a prior reservation in the GVA Parcs Naturals app.
- Nearby towns: Alcalà de Xivert about 9 km, Peñíscola about 32 km by road and Morella about 95 km.
How to get to Las Terrazas
- By car: AP-7, exit 44 (Alcossebre-Torreblanca), or N-340 and CV-142 to Alcossebre; then follow signs to Cargador beach. From Valencia it is about 120 km (approx. 1 h 30 min) and from Barcelona about 240 km. The detailed route is at how to get to Alcocéber by car.
