The Los Olivos building is one of Casa Azahar's accommodations in the centre of Alcossebre with the best rating on the portals. It is not a large complex nor on the seafront, but it combines three things that people arriving by car value highly: a garage space in the building, renovated apartments with air conditioning and the beach a short walk away.

Where the Los Olivos apartments are
Los Olivos is in the central area of Alcossebre, near Carregador beach, on a street that guests describe as central and quiet. According to their reviews, the beach is about 300 metres away. The location sub-score on Booking is 8.9 out of 10.

The nearest beach is Carregador (El Cargador): 850 metres of fine sand, a seafront promenade, dunes with sea daffodils, fully adapted access and a Blue Flag since 1987 without interruption. Along the Senda Litoral, a wooden walkway, you reach Playa Romana, also with a Blue Flag.
What the location offers:
- Beach and centre on foot, with no need to move the car once parked.
- Quiet street, without the bustle of the seafront promenade in summer.
- Restaurants, shops and the Tuesday market (from May to October) a short walk away.
Good to know:
- As in the rest of Casa Azahar's buildings, keys are collected at the agency's office, at Avenida Las Fuentes, 11, which some guests find far from the apartment. Plan your arrival to stop there first.

What the Los Olivos building is like
Los Olivos is an apartment block with two communal services that set it apart in the centre of Alcossebre:
- Garage: the building has its own garage and the space is the most praised service in the reviews. If you arrive by car, it is a real advantage right in the centre.
- Communal pool: it exists, but it is very small and, according to several guests, has no area to sit or lie down. It is more of a dip to cool off than a pool to spend the afternoon in.
Inside, guests describe clean, renovated and well-equipped apartments, with effective air conditioning and comfortable beds and pillows; the two recent Google reviews highlight precisely the renovation. From some terraces you can see the mountain, as the photos on the Casa Azahar listing show. There is also wifi.
Small shortcomings that recur: a missing kitchen utensil, wardrobes without shelves, cleaning products and an uncomfortable sofa bed. As in all Casa Azahar buildings, pets are not accepted.

- The location, central and quiet (8.9 on Booking).
- Cleanliness (8.5) and the condition of the apartments, renovated and well equipped.
- Comfort (8.6): air conditioning that works well and comfortable beds and pillows.

What is criticised most
- The pool, very small and with no sunbed area.
- The sofa bed, uncomfortable, and some beds a little small.
- Small equipment details: utensils, wardrobes without shelves or cleaning products.
- Key collection, far from the apartment.
The lowest sub-score is value for money (7.3). The criticisms, however, barely touch the condition of the apartments: they focus on the pool, the sofa bed and small equipment details.
Our assessment
Los Olivos is a comfortable and practical option for those who travel by car, want an up-to-date apartment and do not need a large pool. The garage space and the air conditioning solve two of the usual summer concerns in Alcossebre.
Strengths
- Garage space in the building.
- Renovated, clean apartments with air conditioning.
- Central, quiet location, with the beach about 300 m away.
- Good rest, according to most reviews.
Weak points
- Very small pool.
- Uncomfortable sofa bed.
- Key collection outside the building.
Ideal for
- Couples and families who arrive by car from Aragon, Madrid or the north and want to leave it in the garage all week.
- Solo travellers or small groups looking for a renovated apartment in the centre.
- Older people, thanks to the combination of a quiet street and nearby services.
If the pool is essential for your children, a complex with a large pool is better, like those in the alternatives.
