Montesol is in the area of inland estates, behind Las Fuentes. It is a quiet residential setting; in return, the beach and services are at a distance that many cover by car. The sources do not give the exact distance to the sea.
The reference beach is Les Fonts / Las Fuentes: about 400 × 40 m of fine sand, with freshwater springs that bubble up in the sand, lifeguards, a children's area and equipment hire. Next to it is the marina.

- Serra d'Irta Natural Park, declared in 2002, with 7,743 ha and about 12 km of unspoilt coast between Alcossebre and Peñíscola. From Cala Blanca and the lighthouse start walking and cycling routes, such as the Ruta del Cranc (13.2 km, easy).

- Alcossebre centre and Cargador beach, with a Blue Flag without interruption since 1987.

- By car: AP-7, exit 44 (Alcossebre-Torreblanca), or N-340 and CV-142 to Alcossebre; then towards Las Fuentes and the inland estates.
- Approximate distances: Castellón, about 50 km; Valencia, about 120 km; Barcelona, about 240 km; Madrid, about 465 km.
- Airports: Castellón (about 22 km), Valencia (about 123 km), Reus (about 145 km) and Barcelona (about 230 km).
- By train: Alcalà de Xivert station, about 10 km away.
