Rancho Grande is between Cargador and Romana beaches, south of the built-up area of Alcossebre (Alcalà de Xivert, Castellón). From here you can walk to either beach.
- Romana beach: about 500 m of fine sand and 40 m wide, accessible and with a Blue Flag in 2026.
- Cargador beach: about 850 m of fine sand, with a promenade, a dune system and an uninterrupted Blue Flag since 1987.
Between the two runs the Senda Litoral, a wooden boardwalk by the sea.
Advantages of the area: two Blue Flag beaches at hand and a walk to the centre. Drawbacks: for the marina and Las Fuentes, in the north, you will normally need to take the car.

Rancho Grande is an apartment residence. The sources consulted do not detail its communal areas (pool, lift or parking), so it is advisable to ask the agency about these points before booking.
Holiday rental: the agencies InmoAlcossebre and Marejada offer holiday rental apartments in the residence. As of October 2026 we have not found listings for Rancho Grande on Google, Booking, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Atrápalo or Central de Reservas, so there are no public ratings for the complex.
What is around
- Senda Litoral and seafront promenade: from Romana to Cargador and the centre, with shops and restaurants. From May to October there is a weekly market in the promenade area.
- Southern beaches: El Moro, with lifeguards and services, and beyond it Tres Platges and Manyetes.
- Serra d'Irta Natural Park: from Cala Blanca start walking route 2 (12.8 km, low difficulty) and the Ruta del Cranc by bike towards Peñíscola.
