What to do near Alcossebre Sea Experience

From the aparthotel you can walk to Romana beach, the Senda Litoral and the Cargador promenade. At the Cargador there is a sailing club and paddle surf hire, and the Alcossebre market is set up on Tuesday evenings from May to October on Camí l'Atall, next to the seafront promenade.

To the south continue the beaches of El Moro (with a Blue Flag in 2026), Tres Platges and Manyetes; to the north, past Las Fuentes marina, begins the Serra d'Irta Natural Park, with about 12 km of unspoilt coastline as far as Peñíscola. From Cala Blanca, next to the lighthouse, start route 2 on foot (12.8 km, easy) and the Ruta del Cranc by bike (13.2 km, easy).

For food, look for local cuisine: the tomata de penjar from Alcalà de Xivert, arroz a la marinera, baked rice, suquet de peix and, for dessert, almond sweets such as pastissets or carquinyols.
