Playamar is an apartment residence with communal areas. According to the listings and reviews, it has:

What to do near Playamar

From the residence you have on foot the Cargador promenade, with the sailing club and paddle surf hire, and the Senda Litoral to Romana beach (500 m of fine, accessible sand). On Tuesday afternoons, from May to October, the Alcossebre market sets up on Camí l'Atall, next to the promenade.

To the north, the promenade leads to the Las Fuentes marina and its beach, with freshwater springs in the sand. Beyond that begins the Serra d'Irta Natural Park, with about 12 km of unspoilt coastline to Peñíscola, walking routes such as route 2 from Cala Blanca (12.8 km, low difficulty) and the Ruta del Cranc by bike (13.2 km, low difficulty).

For food, try the local cuisine: tomata de penjar from Alcalà de Xivert, seafood rice, suquet de peix and almond sweets. And for an excursion, Alcalà de Xivert (about 9 km away, with its 68 m bell tower) or Peñíscola (about 32 km).

When to go to Playamar

Being on the front line at Cargador can be enjoyed at any time of year. In summer the average temperature is around 24.5 °C and the sea reaches about 25 °C; it is the season with the most atmosphere on the promenade. June and September combine good weather and slightly fewer people, and in spring and autumn (about 16-19 °C on average, with more than 2,700 hours of sunshine a year according to AEMET) the promenade and the Senda Litoral are perfect for walking. Bear in mind that, if the apartment has no air conditioning, July and August are the most demanding months.

Via the AP-7 (exit 44, Alcossebre-Torreblanca) or via the N-340 and the CV-142 you reach Alcossebre; the residence is on the Cargador seafront, next to the centre.
