The Bellamar complex in Alcossebre is an estate of townhouses in the southern part of Alcocéber, close to the sea and away from the bustle of the centre. It appears on the portals under several names: Bellamar 3000, Bella Mar residencial Altamar, Bellamar chalets or Bellamar townhouses. This page is informational: it gathers its location, what the homes are like and what the public reviews say, with the caveat that almost all of them are several years old. We do not manage this complex or take bookings for it.
Where is the Bellamar complex
The Bellamar complex is in the south of Alcossebre, the coastal core of Alcalà de Xivert (Castellón), on the stretch of coast of the El Moro, Tres Platges and Manyetes beaches. The homes are on the second line from the beach, a short distance from Residencial Palm Beach.
It is a very quiet residential area, and guests value it precisely for that. In return, the town centre is too far to walk, something that also recurs in the reviews and explains the low location score on Central de Reservas (6.0).
Advantages of the area:
- A very quiet atmosphere, without the bustle of the centre.
- The beach close by, on the second line.
- Several different beaches a short distance away: fine sand at El Moro, coves at Tres Platges and dunes at Manyetes.
Drawbacks:
- Far from the centre on foot, according to guests: for shopping, restaurants and the seafront promenade you will want a car.
- Fewer services around than at the Cargador or Las Fuentes.
What the Bellamar complex is like
Bellamar is a group of 2-bedroom townhouses built in 2008, with a communal pool. According to reviews, the homes are spacious and bright, spread over three floors, and include a garage.
Facilities and equipment mentioned in the listings and by guests:
- communal pool;
- garage;
- terrace;
- washing machine;
- barbecue;
- pets allowed, according to old reviews.
On that last point, take it with caution: it is mentioned in reviews from 2016 and 2017, and the conditions may have changed. If you are travelling with your dog, confirm it directly with the agency before booking.
The homes are not managed by a single company. The complex appears on the portals through Lloguers Altamar and Apartamentos 3000, so the equipment and condition may vary from one townhouse to another.

Before drawing conclusions from the table, bear in mind three things:
- The reviews are old. Those on TripAdvisor are from 2016 and 2017 and those on Central de Reservas from 2016. They describe the complex as it was then, and we do not know whether it has changed since.
- There are very few. There are 13 in total: 9 on TripAdvisor (2.8 out of 5) and 4 on Central de Reservas (7.4 out of 10). With so few ratings, a single bad or good experience moves the average a lot.
- There are several listings and operators. Central de Reservas has another listing, "Chalets Bellamar 3000", with 9.2 out of 10 but only one review, which we do not include. The Atrápalo listing ("Bellamar Altamar") has no reviews and we have not found a listing for the complex on Booking. Google shows an accommodation called "Kione Bellamar", but it is not confirmed that it is the same complex and we do not include it.
The Central de Reservas sub-scores give a more nuanced picture than the TripAdvisor rating: cleanliness 8.2, price 8.0, facilities 7.8, services 6.8 and location 6.0.
What guests like most. Guests highlight that the townhouses are spacious and bright, with three floors and a garage, that they are close to the beach and in a very quiet area, and that they have a communal pool. They also mention good value for money and that pets were allowed.
What is criticised. Some guests point out a lack of investment and maintenance, old mattresses and bed bases, basic equipment with scarce kitchenware, and the distance to the centre on foot. It is also mentioned that the pool is small and that the hot water tank has little capacity.
The profile that appears in the reviews is families and groups, mostly Spanish and one German guest.
Our assessment
With so few reviews and almost all of them from years ago, it is hard to get a current picture of the Bellamar complex. What is clear is its concept: spacious townhouses with a garage and a pool in a quiet area of south Alcocéber, close to the sea.
Strengths, according to guests
- Spacious, bright homes, on three floors and with a garage.
- Quiet area and the beach nearby.
- Communal pool.
- Good value for money in the reviews of the time.
Recurring weaknesses
- Maintenance and equipment that could be better in the 2016-2017 reviews.
- Distance to the centre, which means using a car.
- Few published reviews and none recent.
Who it may suit. Families and groups with a car who value space and a garage and prefer the calm of the south to the life of the seafront promenade. Before booking, we recommend looking for recent reviews of the specific agency offering the townhouse, asking for current photos and confirming the conditions, including whether pets are allowed.

Southern beaches.El Moro beach has about 300 metres of fine sand between rocks, with lifeguards, showers and toilets, and a Blue Flag in 2026. Tres Platges are three small linked coves of fine sand and pebbles; their swimming area is unsupervised, so with children it is better to choose another. Serra d'Irta. At the other end of the town, by car, begins the Serra d'Irta Natural Park. From Cala Blanca and the lighthouse start route 2 (12.8 km, easy) and the red route (8.5 km), and by bike the Ruta del Cranc follows the coastal track to Peñíscola. In summer, to drive onto the park's coast you must reserve a space in the GVA Parcs Naturals app.
