The Irtamar apartments in Alcossebre are a residential building in the Las Fuentes area, the northern part of the town, between the marina and the start of the Sierra de Irta. It appears on OpenStreetMap maps as an apartment block, but we have found no tourist rental listing or public reviews on Booking, Google Maps, TripAdvisor, Expedia, Atrápalo or Central de Reservas as of October 2026. When you search on Google Maps, other complexes with similar names appear, such as Irta Playa or Playamar.

Where Irtamar is in Alcocéber
Irtamar is in the Las Fuentes area, north of Alcossebre marina. It is the part of town with the most seafaring atmosphere and the closest to the Serra d'Irta Natural Park.
The reference beach is Las Fuentes (Les Fonts): about 400 metres of fine sand and about 40 wide, with lifeguards, showers, toilets, a children's area and equipment hire in season. Freshwater springs rise in its sand, coming from an ancient underground aquifer, something unusual on the coast.
What is around
- Las Fuentes marina, with about 283 berths and home of the Alcossebre Sailing Club; boat and diving trips to the Columbretes Islands leave from here.
- Seafront promenade towards Cargador beach and the centre, with shops and restaurants.
- Sierra de Irta, to the north: Cala Blanca and the lighthouse, where route 2 on foot (12.8 km, easy) and the Ruta del Cranc by mountain bike (13.2 km) to Peñíscola begin. The park's coves have no lifeguards, and in summer driving onto the coast requires booking a space in the GVA Parcs Naturals app.
How to get to Irtamar
- By car: via the AP-7, exit 44 (Alcossebre-Torreblanca), or via the N-340 and CV-142 to Alcossebre; in the town, follow signs to the marina and Las Fuentes.
- By train: Alcalà de Xivert station, about 10 km away, with Media Distancia trains.
- By plane: Castellón airport, about 22 km (about 25 min), and Valencia, about 123 km (approx. 1 h 30 min).
