Where Residencial Mirador al Mar is
Mirador al Mar is in the Irta-Ribamar area, north of Alcossebre (Alcalà de Xivert, Castellón), on the slope of the Serra d'Irta. The complex's Booking listing gives the address Carrer Regne Unit, 142.

It is a very quiet residential area, according to reviews, located between the urban core of Las Fuentes and the Serra d'Irta Natural Park, which extends north as far as Peñíscola. From the complex you can see the sea and the mountain.
The public listings do not give the exact distance to the beach. The nearest town beaches are those in the northern part of the village, such as Las Fuentes, next to the marina, and to the north the park's coves begin, such as Cala Blanca, next to the lighthouse. We recommend checking the distance on the map before booking and counting on the car for your journeys.
Advantages of the area: silence, open views, nature at the door and private parking.
Drawbacks: being on a slope and outside the centre, the most practical way to get to the beach, the supermarket or the restaurants is by car.

This is the public score we found:

Public scores from each website, checked on octubre de 2026. They may have changed; see the source for the current score.
Mirador al Mar is a complex with few published reviews and it is worth knowing this:
- Google (4.4 out of 5 from 21 reviews) is the only source with ratings. The reviews are brief and almost all focus on the views.
- The Casa Azahar Booking listing ("Apartamentos Mirador al Mar Casa Azahar") does not yet have ratings.
- There are no listings for the complex on TripAdvisor, Atrápalo or Central de Reservas.
What guests like most
The topics that appear in the reviews are:
- The sea and Serra d'Irta views.
- A very quiet residential area.
- That it has a lift, pool and private parking.
What we do not know yet
In the published reviews no complaints appear, but they are few and very short, so they do not allow us to assess aspects such as the condition of the interiors, the air conditioning or the kitchen equipment. When the Booking listing accumulates reviews, the picture will be more complete. In the meantime, the best reference is the photos and description of each unit on the Casa Azahar website.

Mirador al Mar is an option for those who prioritise views, peace and quiet and nature. Its communal services, with pool, lift and private parking, are very complete.
Strengths
- Sea and Serra d'Irta views.
- Very quiet residential area.
- Lift, pool and private parking.
- Next to the Serra d'Irta Natural Park, ideal for hiking and cycling.
Points to bear in mind
- Few published reviews and none yet on Booking.
- Not on the front line: the distance to the beach is not published and it is best to get around by car.
- Far from the atmosphere of the centre and the seafront promenade.
Ideal for
- Couples looking for calm and sunsets on the terrace.
- Families who want a pool and parking without worrying about traffic.
- Hikers and cyclists who want the Serra d'Irta close at hand.
- People who work remotely or take long off-season stays and value silence.
Less recommended for those who want to do everything on foot or go down to the beach without a car. Like the other Casa Azahar buildings, Mirador al Mar does not accept pets.

The Serra d'Irta from Mirador al Mar
The great advantage of this area is its closeness to the Serra d'Irta Natural Park, declared in 2002 as a Natural Park and Marine Nature Reserve. It has 7,743 hectares of land, about 12 km of undeveloped coast and its summit is the Pico de Campanilles, at 572 metres. According to the Generalitat Valenciana, it is one of the last best-preserved coastal ranges in the Mediterranean area.
Official routes that start from Alcossebre:
| Route | Distance | Difficulty | Start |
|---|---|---|---|
| Route 2: Faro d'Irta - Cala Cubanita - Font de la Parra | 12.8 km | Easy | Cala Blanca |
| Red route "Un paisaje de contrastes" | 8.5 km circular | Easy | Faro de Irta |
| Route 5: Hermitage of Santa Llúcia i Sant Benet | 1.3 km | Medium | Montemar estate |
| Ruta del Cranc (MTB, coastal track to Peñíscola) | 13.2 km | Easy | Cala Blanca |
| Ruta del Fardatxo (MTB) | 16.2 km | Hard | Cala Blanca |
Along the way you will find dwarf fan palm, the only native palm in Europe, Aleppo pine woods and, with luck, birds such as Audouin's gull or raptors such as Bonelli's eagle.
Rules worth knowing:
- Lighting fires and wild camping are forbidden.
- On the tracks, the maximum speed is 30 km/h.
- In summer, to drive into the park's coast you must book a place in the GVA Parcs Naturals app; the dates change every year. There is a barrier in Alcossebre, about 2 km from the entrance along the Ribamar track.
- The park's coves have no lifeguards or services: for swimming with children, the town beaches are better.
The park's visitor centre is in Peñíscola; in Alcossebre you can get information at the Tourist Info in Plaza Vistalegre.
