The apartments of Residencial Parque Azahar II, in Alcossebre, are in the Cargador area, the most central in the town. It is a residential building of privately owned homes, not a tourist complex with a reception: some of its homes are rented out in season, normally managed by their own owners.
This page is informative and independent. Despite the similar name, the residence has no connection with Casa Azahar, which does not manage apartments in it. At the end we suggest Casa Azahar alternatives in the same area.
Where Residencial Parque Azahar in Alcossebre is
Residencial Parque Azahar II is in the Cargador and centre area of Alcossebre. Those who have stayed there highlight precisely that: the beach, the promenade and the centre are a few minutes' walk away. On Booking the location gets a 9.8 out of 10, the highest of all its sub-scores.

The reference beach is Carregador or Cargador, the main one in Alcossebre:
- About 850 metres long and 70 wide, with fine sand.
- A dune system of high ecological value, with a colony of sea lilies.
- Fully accessible, with a sailing club, paddle surf hire and a promenade.
- Blue Flag every year since 1987.
Advantages of the area: restaurants, supermarkets, the promenade and the most complete beach in the town are at hand, with no need to take the car. Drawbacks: it is the busiest area in summer, and street parking is hard to find. Some guests mention some traffic noise from a nearby street.
What Residencial Parque Azahar II is like
It is an apartment residence with a communal pool, landscaped area and garage. A detail the reviews repeat: the pool, large and clean, is in the neighbouring building, not in the block itself. This is not a problem for using it, but it is worth knowing if you imagine going straight from the apartment down to the water.
According to the Booking listing and the comments, the advertised apartment has:
- Terrace.
- Air conditioning and a heater, useful outside summer.
- Equipped kitchen.
- Wifi, although with room for improvement (6.3 on Booking).
- Garage space, which guests value highly in an area where parking is difficult.
As these are privately owned homes, each apartment in the residence may have different equipment. What is described here corresponds to the unit with a public listing.
What guests think of Residencial Parque Azahar II
8.9/10 weighted average across booking sites · 41 reviews
| Website | Score | Reviews |
|---|---|---|
| Booking.com | 8.9/10 | 41 |
Public scores from each website, checked on octubre de 2026. They may have changed; see the source for the current score.
The rating comes from a single Booking listing which, judging by what the guests themselves say (they mention "the owner"), corresponds to an apartment managed by its owner, not to the residence as a whole. For that reason the rating describes that home and the service well, but does not necessarily apply to other units in the building. On Google Maps there are two listings for the residence with no rating or reviews, and we have not found listings on TripAdvisor, Expedia, Atrápalo or Central de Reservas.
What guests like most:
- The location, a few minutes' walk from the beach, the promenade and the centre.
- The communal pool, large and clean, with a garden.
- The garage space.
- A clean, comfortable, well-equipped apartment with a terrace.
- Air conditioning and a heater.
- The host's service, friendly and attentive (staff score 9.6).
What some guests point out:
- That the pool is in the building next door.
- Some traffic noise from the nearby street.
- An old-fashioned TV and wifi that could be better.
The other sub-scores are high: cleanliness and value for money, 9.1; facilities and comfort, 8.9. The usual profile is Spanish couples and families.
Our assessment
Strengths
- Very practical location: Cargador beach, the promenade and services a few minutes' walk away.
- Garage, a real advantage in the busiest area of Alcossebre.
- Pool with a garden, although in the neighbouring building.
- Very positive reviews and a reasonable volume for a single home.
Weaknesses
- The rating is for a single apartment; other homes in the residence may be different.
- Some traffic noise according to some guests.
- Wifi and TV could be better, if you are going to work remotely.
Who is it ideal for? For couples and families who want to park the car on arrival and forget about it all week, with the main beach and the centre at hand. For those looking for absolute silence, the southern areas or the Serra d'Irta are quieter.
Tips if you are going to rent at Parque Azahar II
- Check which unit you are booking. If it is not the one on the listing with reviews, ask for photos and a list of equipment.
- Confirm the garage space. That it is included and its dimensions, especially if you have a large car.
- Ask about the pool. Hours, opening season and how to get to it from the neighbouring building.
- Remote working. If you need a good connection, check the wifi speed before booking.
- Long stays. In the article on renting by the week or fortnight we explain how the summer is organised in Alcossebre.
When to go to Residencial Parque Azahar II
Alcossebre has a mild Mediterranean climate: according to the AEMET normals for the Castelló-Almassora station, the average is around 24.5 °C in summer, with highs of 29-30 °C, about 16 °C in spring and about 19 °C in autumn, and it has more than 2,700 hours of sunshine a year. The sea is around 25 °C in high summer.
The advantage of being in the centre is that something is always open nearby. In July and August Cargador is in full season, with the promenade, the restaurants and the Tuesday market, which runs from May to October; this is when the garage makes the difference, because street parking gets complicated. In June and September the promenade is better for walking and the beach is less crowded. And as the apartment with reviews also has a heater, it can be used in spring and autumn, for Easter getaways, long weekends or the Fira de la Tomata de Penjar in October.
Surroundings and things to do
- Cargador beach and promenade, a few minutes away: fine sand, dunes and water sports.
- Senda Litoral to the south: a wooden boardwalk leads from Cargador to Romana beach.
- Las Fuentes marina to the north, with the Alcossebre Sailing Club and boat and diving trips to the Columbretes Islands.
- Weekly summer market next to the promenade, in season.
- Serra d'Irta Natural Park: from Cala Blanca and the lighthouse start route 2 (12.8 km, low difficulty) and the Ruta del Cranc by mountain bike (13.2 km) towards Peñíscola. In summer, driving to the park's coast requires booking a space in the GVA Parcs Naturals app.
- Alcalà de Xivert, about 9 km away, with its 68-metre bell tower, and Peñíscola about 32 km by road.
