The reference beach is El Cargador (Carregador): 850 m long and 70 m wide, fine sand, fully accessible, with a dune system and sea daffodils, a sailing club, paddle surf hire and a Blue Flag uninterrupted since 1987. Along the Senda Litoral, a wooden walkway, you reach La Romana beach.

What is nearby
From the El Cargador area you can walk to the promenade and, on Tuesday afternoons from May to October, the Alcossebre market on Camí l'Atall. To the north, the promenade leads to the Las Fuentes marina and Las Fuentes beach, with freshwater springs in the sand. In the other direction, the Senda Litoral leads to La Romana beach and, further south, to El Moro.
Past the marina begins the Serra d'Irta Natural Park, with about 12 km of unspoilt coastline as far as Peñíscola, easy walking routes such as route 2 from Cala Blanca and the Ruta del Cranc by bike.
How to get there
Alcossebre is reached via the AP-7 (exit 44, Alcossebre-Torreblanca) and via the N-340, from which the CV-142 leads to the town. The building is in the central area, near El Cargador.
