Our verdict
Strengths
- A house with a private garden and barbecue, about 400 metres from the beach.
- Recent construction, good equipment and very well-rated cleanliness.
- Privacy: only 6 villas in the complex.
- Air conditioning and wifi that work.
Weak points
- A pool that is small at full occupancy.
- Terrace steps to watch with small children.
- No mosquito screens: it is worth bringing a mosquito diffuser.
Who is it ideal for? For families with older children, groups of friends or two couples who want their own space, dinner in the garden and the beach a short walk away. With babies or small children it is a good option if you bear the steps in mind.

Tips before booking Villas Sunset
- Make the most of the barbecue. Bring charcoal or ask what is available, and follow the development's rules.
- Mosquitoes. As there are no mosquito screens, a plug-in mosquito repellent makes nights more comfortable.
- Small children. Watch the steps on the raised terraces.
- Kitchen. The ceramic hob is a little slow; for long meals, the barbecue is a good ally.
- Long stays. In the article on renting by the week or fortnight we explain how the summer works in Alcocéber.
