The Alcoceber Centro apartments in Alcossebre are a block of holiday apartments with an outdoor pool and parking, located on Carrer Irta, right in the town centre and close to Cargador beach. They are marketed by the operator Apartamentos 3000, which is why they appear on the portals as "Alcoceber Centro 3000". This page is independent and summarises what the public portals say.
Where are the Alcoceber Centro apartments
The building is at Carrer Irta, 5, in the Cargador and centre area, the liveliest part of Alcocéber. According to the portal listing, Cargador beach is about 6 minutes' walk away, and guests highlight that both the beach and the centre are close.

Cargador beach (or Carregador) is the town's main beach:
- 850 m long and about 70 m wide, with fine sand.
- Protected dune system, with a colony of sea daffodils.
- Fully accessible, with a seafront promenade, a sailing club and paddle surf hire.
- Blue Flag without interruption since 1987.
Advantages of the area: everything within walking distance (beach, shops, restaurants, Plaza Vista Alegre with the Tourist Info). Drawbacks: in high summer there is more bustle and street parking is harder; guests say it is easy out of season.

What the Alcoceber Centro building is like
According to the listings and reviews, the complex offers:
- An outdoor pool, small but with views, according to guests.
- Parking.
- An equipped kitchen in the apartments.
- Air conditioning, charged separately.
The apartments are described as spacious. Some units have few views. The sources do not state the number of bedrooms by type or whether there is a lift.
There is an important nuance for interpreting the reviews: the Booking listing indicates "several locations", that is, it groups Apartamentos 3000 apartments spread across different buildings. Some of the ratings may refer to units that are not on Carrer Irta. For that reason it is best to read the reviews as a picture of the operator rather than of the specific building.
What guests think of Alcoceber Centro
7.1/10 weighted average across booking sites · 113 reviews
| Website | Score | Reviews |
|---|---|---|
| Booking.com | 6.9/10 | 93 |
| 3.5/5 | 12 | |
| Central de Reservas | 8.9/10 | 8 |
Public scores from each website, checked on octubre de 2026. They may have changed; see the source for the current score.
With 113 reviews, it is one of the complexes with the most ratings in this part of the town, although the scores vary a lot by portal. This is how to read the table:
- Booking (6.9/10, 93 reviews) is the most solid reference by volume, with the nuance already explained: the listing groups Apartamentos 3000 units in several buildings.
- Google (3.5/5, 12 reviews) is the lowest rating. The topics that appear most are the price, the key, air conditioning and additional payments.
- Central de Reservas (8.9/10, 8 reviews) is much more generous: cleanliness 9.6, facilities 9.4, price 8.8, services 8.5 and location 8.2. With so few reviews, the figure is only indicative.

What is most appreciated:
- The spacious apartments, comfortable for groups and families.
- The location, close to the beach and the centre (7.9 on Booking, the best sub-score).
- The cleanliness and equipment, generally fine.
- The ease of parking out of season.
- The pool, small but with views.
What recurs in the criticisms:
- Key collection takes place at another point in the town, with limited hours; some guests find it a complication on arrival.
- The check-in at 5 pm and check-out at 10 am times.
- Extra charges (towels, air conditioning) that raise the final price.
- Noise and echo in the stairwell.
- Ageing mattresses and equipment (extractor fan, fridge).
- Few views from some units.
The Booking sub-scores: location 7.9, staff 7.6, value for money 7.3, cleanliness 7.2, comfort 6.9 and facilities 6.5. Facilities are the weakest point, consistent with the complaints about old equipment.
By profile, the guests are mainly groups, families and solo travellers, mostly Spanish.
Our assessment
Strengths
- Central location, a few minutes' walk from the Cargador.
- Spacious apartments, with a pool and parking.
- A good option for getting around without a car during your stay.
Weaknesses
- Facilities and equipment with a low score.
- Keys at another point and strict times.
- Surcharges for services that are included at other accommodations.
- The reviews mix several buildings of the same operator.
Who it is ideal for
It suits groups of friends and families who want space and a central location and are not looking for a renovated apartment. For couples who value silence, the stairwell noise may matter. Before booking, check in the listing what the price includes, where the keys are collected and in which building your apartment is.
Tips if you plan to rent in Alcoceber Centro
As the main listing groups apartments from several buildings and extra charges are the most repeated complaint, it is worth spending five minutes reviewing the listing before paying:
- Confirm the exact address. Ask whether your apartment is at Carrer Irta 5 or in another building of the operator. The distance to the beach, the pool and the parking depend on it.
- Ask about the keys. They are collected at another point in the town and with limited hours. If you will arrive late or on a Sunday, arrange it beforehand so you are not left waiting.
- Check the surcharges. Towels and air conditioning are charged separately according to reviews. Add those amounts to the price to compare with other options.
- Choose floor and orientation if you can. Some guests mention stairwell noise and few views; if you are a light sleeper, ask for a unit away from the stairs.
- Bring the basics. With equipment that is sometimes old, it does no harm to bring a kitchen utensil you use every day.
- Make the most of the location. From Carrer Irta you can leave the car parked all week: beach, shopping and restaurants are on foot.
If you plan to stay several weeks, see the article on renting by the week or fortnight, with ideas for organising long stays in Alcocéber.
Around the area and things to do
From Carrer Irta everything is close:
- Cargador seafront promenade, for walking or cycling beside the beach.
- Senda Litoral: a wooden walkway linking the Cargador with Romana beach.
- Alcossebre market, on Tuesday evenings from May to October, on Camí l'Atall, near the seafront promenade.
- Las Fuentes marina and Les Fonts beach, with its freshwater springs, to the north.
- Serra d'Irta Natural Park: walking and cycling trails from the lighthouse and Cala Blanca. In summer, driving to the park's coast requires a reservation in the GVA Parcs Naturals app.
Alcoceber Centro compared with other centre complexes
To put the Alcoceber Centro rating in context, this is the weighted average of other complexes in the Cargador and centre area included in this directory (portals checked in October 2026):
| Complex | Type | Average rating (reviews) |
|---|---|---|
| Alcoceber Centro (this page) | Block with pool and parking | 7.1 (113) |
| Calypso | Building right in the centre | 8.6 (21) |
| Irta Playa | Block 50 m from Cargador beach | 7.6 (45) |
| Residencial Neptuno | Residence | 7.5 (95) |
| Residencial Playamar | Residence on the Cargador front line | 7.8 (55) |
Alcoceber Centro sits in the lower part of the area, mainly because of the complaints about equipment and surcharges, but it is one of those with the most reviews, which gives the figure solidity. Complexes such as Neptuno or Irta Playa, also with quite a few reviews, have similar ratings; Calypso scores higher, although with fewer reviews.
