The El Faro apartments in Alcossebre, which appear on Google as "El Faro Apartaments Alcossebre", are a small, privately managed accommodation in the Las Fuentes area. They should not be confused with the Alcossebre lighthouse, which is at Cala Blanca, at the entrance to the Serra d'Irta. This page is an independent reference with their location, what is known about the accommodation and the published reviews; it is not their official website and we do not handle bookings there.
Where the El Faro apartments are
According to their listings on the portals, the El Faro apartments are at Avenida Manila, 4, in the Las Fuentes area, north of Alcossebre (Alcalà de Xivert, Castellón). Guests highlight that it is a good area, very close to the beach and quiet.

A useful clarification: on OpenStreetMap there is an "Edificio El Faro" at Carrer del Palillo, 2, which could be a different property. And the coordinates of the Google listing almost coincide with those of the Arcos I apartments, so they are probably in the same building or a neighbouring one. If you are going to book, confirm the exact address with the advertiser.
What you have around in Las Fuentes:
- Las Fuentes (Les Fonts) beach: about 400 m long and 40 m wide, fine sand, with freshwater springs that rise through the sand itself. It has lifeguards, toilets, showers, foot washes, ramps, a children's area and equipment rental.
- Las Fuentes marina: about 283 moorings and home of the Club de Vela Alcossebre.
- Las Fuentes seafront promenade, with the El Náutico restaurant next to the marina entrance.
In the area's favour: a quiet atmosphere, a beach with services and the marina in the same area. Against: the town centre and Cargador beach are somewhat further away, and Romana beach, in the south, invites you to take the car.

The other lighthouse: Cala Blanca and the entrance to the Serra d'Irta
Since the accommodation's name leads to confusion, it is worth knowing the Alcossebre lighthouse (Far d'Irta), which is a short drive or bike ride from Las Fuentes and is one of the town's best-known starting points:
- It is at Cala Blanca, a small cove of fine sand and pebbles about 30 by 10 m, with access that official tourism rates as difficult.
- Next to it begins the Ribamar track, the coastal track that runs through the Serra d'Irta Natural Park to Peñíscola.
- From the lighthouse starts the red route "A landscape of contrasts", a 8.5 km loop of low difficulty that reaches Cala Cubanita.
- From Cala Blanca also start route 2 on foot to Font de la Parra (12.8 km) and the cycling routes, such as the Ruta del Cranc (13.2 km) or the Ruta del Fardatxo (16.2 km, high difficulty).
- North of the lighthouse is Cala Mundina, where the Malentivet ravine meets the sea, marking the park's southern boundary.
In summer, car access to the park's coast is regulated: there is a barrier about 2 km from the entrance along the Ribamar track and you must book a parking space on the GVA Parcs Naturals app, 2 to 7 days beforehand. Dates change each year, so check them on the park's official website. On foot or by bike no booking is needed.
