The Eurhostal complex in Alcossebre is one of the accommodations with the most reviews in Alcocéber: it has more than 4,400 ratings across Booking.com, Google, Central de Reservas, TripAdvisor and Atrápalo. This page is an independent reference: it sums up where the complex is, what it is like and what guests say about it on the different portals. It is not the complex's official website and we do not handle bookings there.
Where the Eurhostal complex is
The Eurhostal complex is at Avinguda de les Fonts, 7A, in the Las Fuentes area, north of Alcossebre (Alcalà de Xivert, Castellón). According to guest reviews, it is facing the beach, with direct access to the seafront promenade.

Las Fuentes beach (Les Fonts) is about 400 m long and 40 m wide, with fine sand. Its most unusual feature is the freshwater springs that rise in the sand itself, from an ancient aquifer. It has lifeguards, toilets, showers, foot showers, ramps, a children's area and equipment hire. Very close by is the Las Fuentes marina, with about 283 berths and the Alcossebre Sailing Club.
What is worth knowing about the area:
- Pros: a beach with services on the doorstep, a promenade for walks and a family atmosphere; the marina is very close.
- Cons: the town centre and Cargador beach are somewhat further away; to get to Romana beach you would normally take the car or go for a long walk.
Guests also mention free public parking near the complex.
What the Eurhostal complex is like
Eurhostal is a large tourist apartment complex with a pool and a green area that, given its services, works almost like a hotel. The portal listings and reviews mention:
- Two pools and areas designed for families.
- A buffet restaurant, bar and cafeteria, with a meal plan available.
- Entertainment, much appreciated by families with children.
- A lift and spaces adapted for reduced mobility, although some guests point out that accessibility is limited (see reviews).
- Air conditioning and wifi.
Other operators also work in the complex. Besides the main listing, there are listings such as "Apartamentos El Puerto - Complejo Eurhostal" or "Apartamentos Eurhostal 3000", and companies such as Apartamentos 3000, Lloguers Altamar or Inalko market units. That is why you may find the same complex under different names depending on the portal.
As for pets, the conditions depend on each operator: ask directly the one you are renting from.

Public scores from each website, checked on octubre de 2026. They may have changed; see the source for the current score.
With 1,392 reviews on Booking.com, 1,603 on Google and 876 on Central de Reservas, the Eurhostal sample is large and the trends are reliable. Even so, there is a clear difference between portals: TripAdvisor (3.4 out of 5, 306 reviews) is considerably more critical than Booking.com (8.0/10), Central de Reservas (8.2/10) or Atrápalo (7.9/10). It is best to read each portal in its own context and pay attention to the dates of the reviews.
The table covers only the complex's main listing. Related listings have not been added in: "Apartamentos El Puerto - Complejo Eurhostal" has 9.0/10 with 3 reviews on Central de Reservas, and "Apartamentos Eurhostal 3000" has 4.2/5 with 140 reviews on Google.
What is most valued. On Booking, location scores 9.3, staff 8.8 and value for money 8.2. On Central de Reservas, location reaches 9.2 and price 8.5. The most repeated themes:
- The beachfront location, with direct access to the seafront promenade.
- Friendly staff, especially at reception.
- Good value for money.
- The entertainment, much appreciated by families with children.
- The two pools and the family areas.
- A decent, well-stocked buffet, according to many guests, and the free public parking nearby.
What is criticised. The lowest sub-scores on Booking are facilities (7.5), wifi (7.2) and comfort (7.8). Some guests point out:
- Rooms and apartments that need renovating, with old beds and furniture.
- A buffet with little variety or uneven depending on the dates, in contrast with those who rate it well.
- Lift noise in some rooms.
- Limited accessibility for wheelchair users or older people.
- Occasional cleaning and maintenance issues.
- Wifi that could be better.
Central de Reservas also shows an automatic summary of the reviews that matches these same themes. The guest profile is broad: families with children, couples and groups, mostly Spanish.
Sub-scores, portal by portal
Comparing the sub-scores on Booking.com and Central de Reservas helps show which aspects are solid and which depend more on each guest's experience:

Our assessment of the Eurhostal complex
Strengths
- Beachfront location on Las Fuentes beach, with the promenade and marina close by.
- Holiday resort services: two pools, buffet, entertainment and reception.
- Steady, high ratings for location and staff across thousands of reviews.
Weaknesses
- Facilities that, according to many guests, need renovation.
- Mixed opinions on the variety of the buffet.
- Accessibility that could be better for people with reduced mobility, according to some guests.
- More criticism on TripAdvisor than on the other portals.
Who it is ideal for. For families with children who want to avoid cooking and value the entertainment and the pools, and for groups looking for a lively atmosphere by the sea. If you are travelling with older people or people with reduced mobility, ask about access to your accommodation first. If you prefer a self-contained apartment, with no meal plan or entertainment, other complexes in the area will suit you better.
Before booking at the Eurhostal complex
Based on what guests say, these checks will help you get it right:
- Check the operator and the name of the listing. The same complex appears as Complejo Eurhostal, Apartamentos El Puerto or Eurhostal 3000, and the conditions may change from one listing to another.
- Check which meal plan your booking includes. If the buffet interests you, confirm whether it is included or paid separately.
- If you can, ask for a room away from the lifts, one of the noises some guests mention.
- Ask about accessibility if you are travelling with older people or a wheelchair user.
- Ask about the entertainment if you are travelling outside high season and it matters for your children.
