The La Noria apartments in Alcossebre are an option for those who put location above everything: an apartment building in the centre of town, facing the sea, with large terraces from which you can see the beach. On the portals it appears as "Edificio La Noria" or "Apartamentos La Noria Casa Azahar".
Casa Azahar, Alcossebre's local agency, manages apartments in this building and has its own listing with photos of the homes and availability.

Where the La Noria building is
La Noria is in the Cargador and centre of Alcossebre area. Guests agree that the building is on the beachfront and right in the centre, and that explains its location sub-score on Booking: 9.8 out of 10, among the highest we have seen among Alcocéber's complexes.

The beach in front of you is Carregador or Cargador, the town's main one:
- 850 metres long and about 70 wide, with fine sand.
- A seafront promenade, a protected dune system and full accessibility.
- A Blue Flag every year since 1987; in 2026 it is one of the four Alcossebre beaches with a flag.
- A sailing club and paddle surf hire.
Advantages of the area: you step out of the entrance and you are on the sand, on the promenade or on a restaurant terrace. For families who do not want to move the car all week, it is hard to ask for more. Reviews also confirm that the building has parking spaces included, unusual on the front line in the centre.
Drawbacks: in summer, the centre has atmosphere until late. And access to the apartments is by stairs, which is worth bearing in mind if someone with reduced mobility is travelling.
What the La Noria building is like
La Noria is a multi-storey apartment building, not recently built. It is not listed as having a pool: the attraction is the beach opposite. What is known from the reviews, the services cited and the photos on the Casa Azahar listing:
- Large terraces with sea views, the feature that comes up most.
- Spacious apartments, of up to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, suitable for large families or groups.
- A well-equipped kitchen, according to guests.
- Parking spaces included.
- A washing machine and fans.
- From the photos, there are apartments with a living-dining room open to the terrace, bedrooms with a double bed, with single beds and with a trundle bed, a bathroom and a toilet.

What it does not have, and is worth knowing: air conditioning. The apartments are cooled with ceiling fans, and in the heatwaves of high summer some guests have had a hard time. No lift is listed either.

La Noria has 36 reviews on Booking, with 7.7 out of 10, and a Google listing ("Edificio La Noria Casa Azahar") with only 2 reviews and 4.0 out of 5. We have found no listings for the building on TripAdvisor, Central de Reservas or Atrápalo. The sample is small, but the themes repeat quite clearly.
The Booking sub-scores sketch the profile well: location 9.8, staff 8.6, comfort 8.4, cleanliness 8.2, value for money 8.0 and facilities 7.4. In other words, the place is excellent and the service is good, while the building and its maintenance are the weak point.
What is most valued:
- Being on the beachfront and right in the centre.
- The large terraces with sea views.
- Spacious apartments, with up to 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- The parking spaces included.
- A well-equipped kitchen.
What is most criticised:
- There is no air conditioning, only ceiling fans: a lot of heat in heatwaves.
- Pending maintenance in some apartments: shower screens, an old fridge, lamps, handles.
- Uncomfortable beds, according to some guests.
- Compulsory stairs, not very suitable for people with reduced mobility.
- Occasional presence of cockroaches, mentioned in one review.
- An ageing building and an apartment numbering that is confusing on arrival.
The profile of those who stay here is varied: families, groups and couples, almost all Spanish.
Our assessment of the La Noria apartments
Strengths. La Noria offers what many look for in Alcossebre and few buildings can give: waking up with the sea in front, in the centre and with parking. The large apartments, with two bathrooms, let a large family or two couples share without feeling crowded. The terrace with views is, for many, where life happens.
Weaknesses. The building has some years on it and it shows in maintenance details. The lack of air conditioning is the deciding factor: in July and August, with strong heat, you have to count on fans and the sea breeze. The stairs rule it out for anyone who cannot climb them.
Who it is ideal for:
- Families and groups who want the front line and space, and put the beach ahead of facilities.
- Those travelling by car who want to leave it parked for the whole stay.
- Stays in June or September, when the heat bears down less and the location shines just the same.
Who it is less suited to: people with reduced mobility, anyone who needs air conditioning at all costs, or anyone looking for a pool in the building.

What to bear in mind before booking at La Noria
If the location convinces you, these details will help you get the right apartment and dates:
- Choose the season carefully. With no air conditioning, La Noria is best enjoyed in spring, June or September. In the second half of July and in August, bear in mind that you will depend on fans and on opening the sea-facing terrace at night.
- Ask about the floor. As no lift is listed, a ground or first floor may be more comfortable if you are travelling with pushchairs, a lot of luggage or older people.
- Look at the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartments make the best use of the building's advantages for large families or two couples.
- Note the apartment number carefully. Some guests say the numbering is confusing on arrival; having the exact address and number saves you going round in circles.
- Make the most of the parking. Arriving by car and not having to look for a space in the centre in high summer is an advantage many guests highlight.

When to go to La Noria
Because of its seafront location and the lack of air conditioning, La Noria is especially enjoyable outside the hottest weeks. In June and September, the beaches are quieter and the heat in the apartment is more bearable. In July and August the location is just as good, and the festivities and the atmosphere of the promenade coincide too, but you should expect hot nights. For long stays, see the guide to weekly and fortnightly rentals.
Around La Noria and things to do
From La Noria everything is done on foot. The Cargador seafront promenade runs along the beach and links with the Senda Litoral, a wooden walkway that leads to Romana beach (500 metres of fine sand, accessible and with a Blue Flag). Further south are El Moro beach, with sand between rocks, and the Tres Platges coves.
To the north, past the marina, is Las Fuentes beach, with its freshwater springs, and beyond it the lighthouse and the entrance to the Serra d'Irta Natural Park: about 12 km of protected coastline, with the Ruta del Cranc by bike (13.2 km, easy) and the walking route from Cala Blanca to Cala Cubanita (12.8 km, easy). In summer, to drive onto that coast you must book a space in the GVA Parcs Naturals app.
In season there is a weekly market by the seafront promenade, and in the town you will find rice dishes, suquet de peix and almond sweets typical of the area.
