Villa Lucrecia is in the Las Fuentes area, in northern Alcossebre (Alcalà de Xivert, Castellón). It is an area of residential complexes and apartments with many of the town's services close by.
The reference beach is Las Fuentes (Les Fonts): about 400 m of fine sand, with lifeguards, showers, toilets, ramps, a children's area and equipment hire. Its special feature is the freshwater springs that rise in the sand itself, remains of an ancient underground aquifer.
Advantages of the area: a beach with services, the marina and restaurants nearby, and the Serra d'Irta a few minutes away. Drawbacks: the southern beaches, such as Romana or El Moro, are far away.
