Cargador beach is about 850 m long and 70 m wide, with fine sand and full accessibility, and has held a Blue Flag without interruption since 1987. It keeps a protected dune system and has a sailing club and paddle surf hire. From May to October the town's weekly market is set up along Camí de l'Atall, in the promenade area.
Advantages of the area: beach, promenade and services within walking distance. Drawbacks: in high summer there is plenty of activity around the promenade.
